Lambeth GP Food Co-op
The Lambeth GP Food Co-op is a community partnership bringing together patients, healthcare professionals, and local residents to grow food and improve health outcomes.
Since 2013, the organisation has established food-growing gardens within GP practices and hospital settings, creating opportunities for people living with long-term health conditions to develop practical growing skills while improving their physical health, mental wellbeing, and social connections.
Through this work, the Lambeth GP Food Co-op aims to make a meaningful contribution to improving the lives of local people with multiple long-term conditions, while supporting the long-term sustainability of the health and social care system.
