As the cost of living and heating our homes increases, Southwark Council have opened a network of warm spaces across the borough. In these spaces you can keep warm, have a cup of tea or take part in an activity this winter. In some spaces you can also get food and advice about the cost of living.
We register new patients from within our catchment area which is the Southwark side of the SE5 postal code area of Camberwell.

When you visit the Practice, you may be asked to provide your address and telephone number as a form of identification—this is to ensure you are still living at the registered address in order that any future Practice and hospital letters can be correctly addressed to you. The same applies for your phone number as we might need to contact you urgently and to send appointment reminders by text message.

A Patient Guide to GP Services

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.
You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to apply to register as a permanent patient with the Practice.
To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
