As the cost of living and heating our homes increases, Southwark Council have opened a network of warm spaces across the borough. In these spaces you can keep warm, have a cup of tea or take part in an activity this winter. In some spaces you can also get food and advice about the cost of living.

Non-NHS Services

The Surgery provides some services that are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • non_nhs_services3Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Letters for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

At times of high patient demand there may be some delays in dealing with insurance company requests for medicals and medical notes, we would appreciate you and your insurance companies patience at these times.
