Repeat Prescriptions
To order your repeat medication please do one of the following
- Online using your usual App or your NHS App - this method will deliver your request directly in to the GP prescription inbox
- Via your usual pharmacy - many pharmacies offer an ordering service and some do home deliveries. Check with your pharmacy of choice to see which services they offer.
- FP10/right hand side of your prescription - this lists all of your current repeated medication as well as your information. Simply tick the boxes and pop it in to our prescription box in the lobby or through our letter box if our front doors are closed.
If you are unable to use any of the above options please ring us after 10:00 and we will discuss the most appropriate option for you.
If you get your medication on a repeat prescription we ask that you order it in good time, we operate with a 3 working day turnaround. This allows the GPs to review your request and contact you for a review if necessary.
All newly prescribed medication generally requires a review before being put on your repeat.
Please note - if you run out of your medication, you may be able to obtain an emergency supply (2 days) from your regular pharmacy.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
